Very pleasant, just what we wanted. Our holidays usually consist of major travelling around – I hate hotels so this was perfect for our first go. The area is gorgeous and the weather was fantastic for this time of year. The facilities were great although I think you could mention about the hot water running out, the oven is complicated, key lock is not easy. As for everything else, ideal setting and it has only reinforced our dream to own one of our own, maybe a bit more info as to what you need to bring (i.e. towels: linen). Jenny and Martin

 

What a tranquil location, even with Sieko careering around!! Fish? What fish, saw lots but didn't catch a thing. More to do with me than I think than the lack of fish!!! Chopping wood was a laugh should have packed steel-toed boots and shin guards. Wood burner works great, just follow the instructions, but give it a blow through the vent to get a flame going. We have had the most perfect holiday in this idyllic place. There are lots of carp in the pool and we hope they haven't minded us swimming (nearly every day) and having fun with the boat and the big black dog! Our niece and nephew who stayed next door with their parents during our second week thought it was one of the best places they have ever stayed. The resident pets Sieko the dog and the grey and white cat may have had something to do with this.

We barbequed every evening as I never quite got to grips with the oven, but each meal was a pleasant experience eaten outside in the evening sun.

A trip to Lac de Guerdelan is really worthwhile; the restaurant at Anse de Sardan is in a good location for a leisurely lunch. We are sorry to go and would love to come again if the opportunity arises. Thank you for letting us share your wonderful gite. Judith and Simon

 

This is a beautiful place in idyllic surroundings, so peaceful and tranquil. Enjoyed the fishing – beware the mosquitoes! Wonderful week – weather fantastic – we will be back. Ann and Keith

Jack, Kate, Mike Pauline would like to thank you for the wonderful time at the cottage. Weather v. good, just the odd shower. People around as usual very helpful. Fishing the lake this year was different, plenty of Roach only one Mirror Carp caught (jack) around 10lbs. looking forward to return visit next year.

Arrived on Saturday @12.30, weather is very hot. Sunday another beautiful day caught a lot of big fish. Monday very overcast, Wednesday it rained all day, but enjoyed our week, the peace and quiet was special. We will go home with the hope of returning for another week next year. Kate, Jack and Mike
